ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT: Initial assessment and treatment sessions can be done in the home or in the clinic. Consultations may also be necessary with other treating health professionals.  The initial assessment will address the child's functioning level and outline recommendations for improvement.  It will be determined at that point, if ongoing treatment is needed and the suggested frequency of treatment.    Pediatric Occupational Therapy is not covered under MSI, however private insurance may cover the assessment and/or treatment sessions or part thereof.
